A RISING STAR FROM CENTRAL EXCISE 

Shri. Rajendra Narayan Shedge, Hawaldar, is presently working in Belapur Circle Port Office, M & P Commissionerate, residing at Saralgaon near Mandwa.  He is blessed with one girl aged 24 years and a boy aged  21 years.
His daughter, Harshala R. Shedge, is presently doing M.PEd. at Bombay Physical Culture Association, (B.P.C.A’s) college of physical education Wadala Mumbai.
She is a Gold medalist in Belt Wrestling, in the 4th National Traditional Wrestling Championship 2014, in the under 50 Kg weight category.  She is a Black Belt holder in Karate, in the category of above 19 years.  She has also won Gold medal in Inter Collegiate Sports & Tournaments in Wrestling, Participate in All India Inter University Wrestling Tournaments at Kurukshetra, Harayana.  She has won the Bronze medal in 12th Khashaba Jadhav Chashak  Jan 2013.
Recently she has been selected as a player (-52kg Women Belt Wrestling) in Indian Team participating at the “International Belt Wrestling Alysh Tournament“, held at Kaba Uulu  Kojom Kul Sports Palace, Bishkek, Kyrgystan, Russia Organized by Kyrgstan Belt Wrestling Alshy Federation under the auspices of International Federation of Wrestling on Belt Alysh  (IFWBA) From 15th to 20th March 2015.
The total expenditure incurred by her for the training at Kyrgyzstan was not sponsored by any company and was totally borne by her family.  Her father had arranged for her expenditure somehow, by borrowing money from his sources.  CESA is proud on her achievements and her family’s contribution to standby her skill and talent of an upcoming star.

Lady Officers of Central Excise and Service Tax, Mumbai, have come forward and volunteered to bear the expenses of her foreign trip.

 Shri PSGV Subramaniam’s son, Master Kushal, recently participated in the International Swmming Meet from 01.04.2015 to 04.04.2015, held in Dubai, UAR, in which many of the Asian Countries young talent participated.  At the age of 14 Master Kushal has brought laurels for the country and won gold, silver and bronze medals in 200, 50 & 100 mts breast stroke swimming, respectively.
CESA congratulates Master Kushal and his family.  Shri PSGV Subramaniam has shifted to Bangalore in order to nurture and train his son in the best swimming facility available in the country Shri PSGV Subramaniam is presently on deputation to Banglore DGCEI.  The entire  CESA and Central Excise feel proud of both the budding stars.
