The issue of MACP is
creating a lot of heart burn because out of 14 Zones 4/ 5 Zones officers
completed 30 years are given 6,600/- including Bhopal Zone. Whereas the officers of Chennai, Mumbai and various
other Zones are denied. Recently office bearers
of AIB had two meetings one with Board officials and another with Revenue
Secretary but the ice has not been broken.
It is learnt the Board officials had made a reference to DOPT to extend
the recent communications to the Chennai CCA for the applicants to all the
eligible officers.
Recently 6 officers of
Mumbai Zone had filed an application with Mumbai CAT on the similar grounds of
Chennai and got an order from Mumbai CAT dated 6th July, 2015. In the O.A i.e. 95, 125, 126, 127, 733/2014 and 58/2015 ordered that:-
Un“der such circumstances
all the OAs are disposed off by directing the respondent CCA Mumbai to consider
the cases of the applicant in the light of the judgement passed by the Hon’ble
High Court at Madras as well as communication dated 26/03/2015 issued by the CBEC,
New Delhi addressed to/ CCA Chennai and passed a reasoned and speaking order
granting reliefs as prayed for by the applicant if the applicants are covered
by the said judgement and the order of the CBEC within 12 weeks of the receipt
of this order.”
MACP relief is certain but
granting from the Board is discouraging one.
When it comes to the NFSG to Group ‘A’ Board is so kind and when it
comes to us Board and DOPT even ridiculed the courts order.
CESA hope MACP issue Will be resolved soon
