A Tragic End of a Promising Talent

Aarohi Vartak, daughter of Shri Rajendra S.Vartak, Inspector Adj Sec, ServiceTax-I, had appeared for the SSC Examinations in 2013. After her examination she developed  complications of the liver and subsequently was undergoing treatment at the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital, Mumbai.

        She had to undergo liver transplant. This was under process and as she was having infection, admitted in ICU. On the fateful day, i.e. on 7^th June 2013, the results of SSC were declared. Aarohi was knowing that this was the day of her results.  After the results were declared at around one o’clock, her mother could not control joy and happiness over the results and rushed to the ICU to inform her daughter about the results as well as marks scored by her – i.e. more than 95%. That was the last say of the proud mother to her loving elder daughter. Aarohi responded by nodding her head. A little later around 1.30 pm she slept in the lap of Almighty forever.

        Aarohi had aspirations of medical profession, accordingly she was preparing herself. Earlier she had never developed any complications. Her difficulties started from 10^th May 2013; and immediately all possible medical assistance were extended by her parents, but it was unfortunate and God was so cruel that Thy snatched a promising, talented and tender girl, who had so many dreams but all had vanished.

        It was double shocking, heart breaking not only to her parents, but to also to near and dear relatives, friends, teachers of Convent of Jesus & Mary at Vasai, and their locality people, as well as the fraternity of Central Excise, Mumbai.
