Sub:   Request for giving instructions to deduct one day salary from the

            employees towards the disaster in Uttarakhand – reg.

The CESA, Mumbai held its Governing Council Meeting on 25.06.2013. 

            We, the Superintendents of Central Excise Mumbai could not remain untouched by seeing the Gods fury on the people of Uttarakhand and the pilgrims who lost their dear and near family members as well as everything, in just few moments.

           

            In the meeting, we expressed deep concern towards the bereaved families, and observed silence and had unanimously decided that we should stand solitarily
behind the people who survived the havoc, but lost everything in the natural calamity, and contribute towards their rehabilitation and to start a fresh life, by way of donating one days salary to PMs relief fund. The deduction may be made from the salary for the month of July 2013.

           

            Associations’ members are also willing to serve in the affected areas, if any man power is required in rehabilitation work, and also render any other assistance at short notice.
