It is wrong to say who can see tomorrow.

Good News-1

CESA salute to the spirit of D.G.H.R.D Ms. Neerja Shah and her team who made the north Block and DGHRD office at Rajendra palace as their second home worked day and night and accomplished the mission as assigned to them. The Chairman, Member (P&V), Revenue Secretary and others rushed from Mumbai to Delhi after holding the DPC on Friday i.e., 09.05.2014 and attended the office on Saturday. The Hon’ble Finance Minister has signed the proposal at 11:40 AM on 10.05.2014. Sweets were distributed in North Block as well as at DGHRD offices. DGHRD and her entire team are in the office today (11.05.2014) also and the notification of Cadre Restructuring will be issued to day. Yes it is today.. it is Sunday for us not for them. The last restructuring notification was also issued on Sunday. We should learn from them how the time is important -if you are not honoring the importance of the time and fail to accomplish the assignments as assigned to us it is of no use.

With all restraints and pulls and pressures, CESA will renders its best to the welfare of the Cadre.

Good News-2

The date of contempt petition was 05.03.2014 and it was adjourned to 09.05.2014. CESA in our earlier message communicated that to escape from the contempt the DOPT has issued instructions on 04.03.2014. We have said let us wait for the out come of the contempt petition filed by the Shri Virendra Kumar against the Chairman of CBDT and Others. The extract of the order of the Hon’ble Court is as below:

“ The respondent i.e CBDT has stated that a draft seniority list on the basis of the judgement has been prepared and objections to the same has been received which is being looked into by them and a final list shall be made within 4 weeks and accordingly sought four weeks time.

In view of the explanation tendered by the learned counsel representing respondent nos. 1 and 2, Hon’ble Court granted four weeks further time to the respondents to take into consideration the objections filed by the employees concerned, so as to implement the order passed by this Court on 27.11.2012.

Needless to mention, that respondent nos. 1and 2 shall be personally responsible, for ensuring compliance of the undertaking given to this Court, within the time specified. The Contempt petition was disposed off accordingly.”

Further Details will be placed soon.
